Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce Announces Conference Center Partnership with Mars Drinks

Philadelphia, PA (December 1, 2015) – The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) announced a new partnership with Mars Drinks to drive growth and to strengthen business relationships across Greater Philadelphia. The Chamber recently renovated its offices with the goal to create a space that promotes collaboration and engagement for members of the business community. Mars Drinks is 100 percent dedicated to the workplace and to understanding the role that drinks play to inspire people to connect and engage to create better, more fulfilling work. Chamber members will benefit from a new thought leadership series starting this winter from Mars Drinks on creating Workplace Vitality™, which describes a work environment that is vibrant, thriving and alive with potential. Chamber members and the media are invited to experience The Mars Drinks Conference Center at the Chamber’s Open House on December 10th, 2015 at 5:30 pm at 200 S. Broad Street, 7th floor, Philadelphia.

“The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce could not be more pleased to partner with Mars Drinks to learn about Workplace Vitality and inspire its many members across the region to reimagine the potential each workday brings,” said Rob Wonderling, President and CEO of the Chamber. “As an organization, we have already begun embracing these ideas from Mars Drinks to rethink how we approach our own meeting and colleague interactions. Mars Drinks is a valued Chamber member, and we are happy to be messengers of how to create a dynamic, healthy and enjoyable workplace.”

Mars Drinks, an international workplace beverage solutions provider based in the Greater Philadelphia area, is openly sharing findings from their new global study of the workplace. The study published in October 2015 found that 90 percent of respondents worldwide believe that their organization’s success is dependent on four key Pillars: Collaboration, Engagement, Well-Being and Productivity. While more than three-fourths of respondents agreed that each individual pillar is critical, the research reveals a new workplace paradigm at the intersection and heart of it all – Workplace Vitality™.

“Mars Drinks is proud to partner with the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce to support the regional business community. By sharing our insights and knowledge, we aim to encourage both employers and the people at work to imagine the potential the workday holds – to rethink the daily grind as an opportunity to connect, collaborate and get things done, together.” said Xavier Unkovic, Global President of Mars Drinks.

The Chamber’s nearly 3,000 square foot conference center, located at 200 South Broad Street, Suite 700, is now known as the “Mars Drinks Conference Center at the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce” and features the Empowerment, Engagement and Collaboration Rooms. These rooms are available for all Chamber members to use free of charge and based upon availability. The rooms feature integrated presentation computers, wireless network access, and state of the art fixed LCD screens. To book a conference room or learn more, go to

“Our new conference center better reflects the energy of the Chamber and the region’s business community,” said Andrea Allon, COO of the Chamber. “We now are able to provide greater services and amenities for our members and guests, and we are excited to have people use this space. The partnership with Mars Drinks has played an important role in creating a more dynamic conference center.”

The Chamber is welcoming its members and the press to an Open House at its newly renovated offices on December 10th at 5:30 pm. The ribbon will be cut on the Mars Drinks Conference Center, and attendees will be encouraged to tour the public and staff-only areas of the renovated space and network among their peers while enjoying food and beverages, and viewing artwork from 12 local artists.
